Pharmacy Alerts

In this release, Integrated Medication Management (IMM) is enhanced with a new dashboard pane and a new alert icon that allows you to quickly identify messaging related issues with the pharmacy. For example, when an outbound pharmacy message is rejected for a new order.

Previously, when an alert message was sent from the integrated pharmacy, it appeared on the Order Alerts dashboard pane with all other order alerts. With this release, alerts sent from an integrated pharmacy appear on the new Integrated Pharmacy Alerts dashboard pane on the Clinical Dashboard.

You can also view the number of alert messages in the eMAR Portal on the new Uncleared Pharmacy Alerts tile.

Click the tile to view the alerts. Click the column titles to sort by Resident, Effective Date, or Alert Description. Type a resident name or alert description to search for a specific alert.

On the Order Listing in the resident’s chart, you can use the display filters to search for Orders with Alerts. When selected, all orders with alerts appear, regardless of order status.

A red flag appears next to the order in the Order Listing.

Click the flag to see the alert message.

NOTE

Orders in pending confirmation status must be confirmed before an alert can be cleared.
