Clinical Dashboard Overview

The Clinical dashboard shows any concerns and/or highlights issues relevant to all residents in your facility and can be filtered for a unit, floor or primary physician. The Clinical dashboard gives a one-stop overview at a facility level of alerts and notifications and relevant clinical information that may require follow-up or monitoring.

A number of panels or panes are available for viewing in the Clinical Dashboard, depending on your security permissions. If you have security to do so, you can specify how your Clinical Dashboard appears.

Use the Clinical Dashboard to access Shift Reports and Summary Reports through the Reports list based on the filters selected.

procedure

  1. From the Clinical menu, select Dashboard.
  2. Filter the list for Unit, Floor and/or Primary Physician.
  3. Select from views to view different areas.

hints and tips

  • If you have multiple views, click the linked names of those views to look at dashboard areas setup.
  • If you want to view a Shift or Summary Report, use the filters for Unit, Floor and Primary Physician to filter to the report information needed.

business rules

  • Security permissions to Edit Layout is required.
  • Security permissions must be granted to view Shift and Summary Reports via the Reports list box on the Clinical Dashboard.

Editing the Dashboard Layout

procedure

  1. From the Dashboard, click Edit Layout.
  2. To remove items from the dashboard, clear the options.
  3. To reorder items on the dashboard, drop and drag or clear and select the box to move it to the top of your list.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Save & Close.

hints and tips

  • Click Restore Default to restore the default view.
  • This  Icon indicates there’s a printable report.
