Baseline values establish a point of measure for the resident after admission. You can compare a resident's height, weight, and vitals against each entry on the resident chart. You can add resident specific goals and thresholds for weight, blood sugar and oxygen saturation. 

You can edit each existing baseline value, vital specific goals and thresholds to help identify a resident-specific range and monitor condition changes.

Note

You must enter route or method to save vital entries.

Procedure

  1. Clinical > Resident > Wts/Vitals.
  2. Click Add/Edit Baselines.
  3. Complete the fields as required.
  4. Click Save.

Hints and tips

  • If entered, thresholds trigger exception warnings for Blood Sugar and Oxygen Saturation vitals.
