RESETTING USER PASSWORDS

Based on your role you will be able to change a user’s password in PointClickCare.

from the home page, go to admin, click on setup.

In admin setup, click on security users.

From the setup-facility user security window you can change the user’s password by clicking on the action located next to their name the password.

The next window will ask for a new password. Type the new generic password (Ex. Hello1). Retype it in “confirm password” and check box “Must change password on next login”. This will prompt the user to reset his/her password.

New Password or the upper boxes for all clinical staff except CNAs

Alternate Password/PIN or the lower boxes are to be use for CNAs.
