Chart Printing in Preparation for Downtime-In the event of a planned downtime the following must be printed from the electronic health record BEFORE the scheduled downtime
1. Careplan Review Schedule- Clinical>Reports>Careplan Reviews Due Report
2. UDA Schedule- Clinical>Reports>Assessment Scheduling Report. Print schedule for the following:
a. Comprehensive Care Path
b. Comprehensive CarePath (once daily documentation)
c. LN: Physical Func Monitoring
d. LN Weekly Skin Monitoring
e. RN: Weekly Wound Assesssment
f. LN Quarterly Eval
g. LN PRN Monitoring
h. LN Focused Clincial Eval- Resp Infection/ UTI
3. Blank Progress Notes (not printed from PCC) – available in house
4. Medication Administration Records for all residents
5. Treatment Administration Records for all residents – Clinical>Administration Record, click on both MAR and TAR, chose the Month and year.
May also print from the eMAR backup system. Do this close to the time of the scheduled downtime to ensure all current orders are captured.
6. PRN Sheets for all residents – This will provide a place do document reason for PRN administration and effectiveness. To print go to Clinical>Reports>PRN Sheets> Place a check mark next to “print for resident s
7. Kardex Report for all residents-Clinical>Reports>Kardex Reports. This will print out C.N.A. plan of care for each resident prefilled with MDS responses. Modify and post
8, NONAARS/Task Flow sheets for all residents- From the Resident chart> Task tab. Click on Task Flow sheet and print. Repeat for all residents. This will be the resident C.N.A Accountability sheet.
9. All Assessments interdisciplinary- Clinical>Reports>Custom Assessment and choose the assessment and RUN REPORT* All DON/ADON are given this in a file*
